NEW YORK (AP) — President-elect Barack Obama’s plan to overhaul the nation’s roads, bridges and transit systems has local officials clamoring for their share of those federal dollars despite concerns that creating millions of jobs won’t deliver the intended jolt to the economy.

Pavel Datsyuk skated through two defenders for a go-ahead score in a three-goal second period, and the Red Wings scored twice in a 17-second span of the third Thursday to rally past the Blackhawks 6-4 in the Winter Classic at chilly Wrigley Field.
